I'm 16, join my mom's group Alters and Hosts living in Harmony to talk to more people the group looks a little lonely like.
bye!
Sai again.... Thank you for your warm welcomes. It means alot to me that I have people who care about us. Lately with all the stuff going on with A, its been really hard on us. Her mom wants to put us away cuz she's afraid we will hurt someone. Its just too much for us at the moment. Thanks guys again.
XO Sai
It sure does make things stressful when people around don't understand, but that's what got us into this in the first place after all. I'm really worried about your mom wanting to "put you away." That sounds like an awful thing, like putting toys away that you don't want to play with anymore. Of course, I'm terrified of hospitals, so the idea of you going to one is scary for me.
If it's scary for you, too, maybe you could work something out with everyone who shares your body... a group promise to not hurt the body or anyone else. If you can all agree to do that for the good of the body (and all of you), and write it down as a promise, and give it to your mother, perhaps she won't send you away.
Since all alters are created to help the body and host, I'm sure this is something all of you can agree on, IF you feel safer at home than at a hospital. If you'll feel safer at a hospital, then just ask to be hospitalized, but don't hurt anyone. I know you have too beautiful a soul to want to hurt anyone like you've been hurt.
I hope you have a therapist who specializes in DID, and who you can trust. We found one finally, and she helps a lot. Also, coming here to talk with others who understand can help bunches, too. I hope you'll keep coming here and talking with us. We all learn from and teach each other here, and this group is really supportive. They've helped me through many hard times.
Safe hugs,
Wistala
I also need to be on meds for my depression, and I don't have a therapist or anyone who could help me with that, so honestly, I am at a loss at this point.
And your Mom doesn't sound very compassionate about your illness which is a shame, luckily though, everyone in this group is, so when you need someone to talk to we're all here xxx
