tickey I meant to mention something else. I wonder if this pain would respond to Tegretol or one of those drugs. It didn't agree with me but it works well for others. If this continues I think you should call your neuro and discuss it.

Hi, I hope they go away soon. I get them occasionally, but they only last seconds, thank God. When they started , I reached for my chest and whined, I scared the hell out of both my daughters, I looked at the one with ms, and told her ms, so she explain her sister, they know now I just have to ride it out. I get stabbed anywhere, anytime, although the ones in the chest seem to come only when I'm hot.

I don't get chest ones but can imagine it doesn't matter and its all nerve pain--just depends on where your lesions are and what part of your brain/body they're affecting. :( I do get the stabbing in the face/eye/neck/head pain and I get it in my back and legs. its so horrible--sympathies hun!

Yes, I do get stabbing pains but they only last for just a seconds. There usually in the lower part of my left chest area, in my right leg and left side of my face.

Wow! Hi tickey, I don't have ms that I know of but I have fibromyalgia and from what I've read so far on this site, they could be sister conditions. I get sharp stabbing pains in my chest that scare the hell out of me too, but have been told it's the fibro along with the general anxiety disorder.
