My ex was initially treated with Vanco and he went to anaphalactic shock from it..they changed it to Zyvox and it cured him..he\'s now testing negative.

Will finish Zyvox on Friday am. so far no problems area healing nicely

I started Zyvox 2 days ago. So far the boils are not getting larger. Maybe a little bit smaller. This is the 3rd antibiotic I have tried. First was Clindamycin. My boil under left arm drained, healed. While still taking it got new boil on butt. Dr changed to sulfameth/trimethoprim and cream for the nose. It cleared up the boil on my rear, but 10 days after done taking that one I got 2 in my right arm pit. Now I am on Zyvox, and we will keep this site posted.

Day 4 on Zyvox. Boils in armpit apear to be shrinking. Less painfull. A few side effects. nothing too bad. Overall fell good.

Day 8. No real problems. Boils under arm are getting smaller. One I can hardly find and the larger one is now a very small hard spot onder the skin. No soreness, or redness. This is the first time a boil did not get big and nasty. I hope it ends here. $1100.00 for 20 pills is steep, but better than the hospital, and worth it if I stay healthy. Craig

Day 10 not so good. I now have a boil or something like a boil in my mouth. It is a small red area with a pus head. It is located just above the uvula(that dangly thing in the back of your throat. Feels like a sore throat. I plan to talk to the Dr. today. I am on my last dose of Zyvox and this pops up. I was hoping it would be gone, but not looking good today.

I was just in the hospital,but on IV Vanco.
The mrsa I have has gone to the bone and Im allergic to Zyvox.

I AALSO USING PROSACEA AND iT ALSO WORKING FOR ME AND MY SKIN HAS ALWAYS BEEN RED AND DRY . THIS PROSACEA REALLY WORKS AND IT CLEARED UP MY SKIN NICELY. I ALSO PAY $10.00 A TUBE AT CVS PHARMACY. MY PICTURE IS BEFORE THE PROSACEA CREAM.

Prosacea is awesome!! I buy mine for about $10 at Kroger.
I used to use Avar gel, both the green and the clear. The smell was so strong though.
Prosacea works just as well, is cheaper and doesn't stink as bad as Avar.

I've always had pink undertones in my skin but recently they've become a lot more pronounced. So

much so that even if I pile on makeup you can still see it coming through. I'm becoming more and

I started using Proscea last week and I can see a difference in my face already. I am usually so red and such darn flakes, it drives me crazy with the flakes. So I saw the get at Wal Mart and bought some. I am so glad I did too. I find my face is less red and less flakey. So I am giving it more time and hopefully it will clear up altogether.

I for the first time had a bad outbreak. I have never had such a big one before. So I freaked out and ran out to the store then found this product and I works great!Thank goodness.
