As far as the honey you are using if it's manuka honey you have to be careful what your purchase as there are fakes. make sure it's UMF (Unique Manuka Manufacturer) approved and it's grade 15+ or higher. Online search Bob Anderson (not me) + garlic baths and start them ASAP. Try to get off and stay off antibiotics as soon as you can. I can't speak for your husband but I gave my wife the option to leave me at anytime if she feels uncomfortable with my MRSA situation. The last thing I want is to infect her. My first ever boil was four months ago and since then I researched a lot, started a regiment (listed in link) and my subsequent outbreaks are tiny pimples that go away within a few days with tea tree oil. I feel for you though as I was near panicked for the first few months about the what-ifs. I still don't know what the future holds in store for me concerning MRSA but I do feel educated and armed thanks to forums such as this.
The general public puts too much faith in modern medicine and doctors. Many doctors brush off MRSA like it's no big deal and have little to no knowledge of natural approaches. MRSA doesn't have funding and fund raisers like cancer, diabetes and other illnesses. Governments seem to do little to spread the word to reduce the spread of HA and CA-MRSA. You have to take care of you and be diligent in every way concerning this nasty disease.. This goes for all that are infected and I'm not trying to single you out. It's tedious, time consuming and scary but with the right approach it can be controlled. Research as much as possible and encourage your husband to research as well I did with my wife and she understands my fears and my concentration towards making a bad situation better.
