I saw the movie "From Homeless to Harvard" about Liz Murray, who graduated Harvard in 2009. She grew up in the streets of nyc, homeless and eating from dumpsters. AMAZING!!

her best quote in the movie as she is being interviewed before the board of directors for a scholarship:

"I'm smart. I know I can succeed. I just need a chance. A chance to climb out of this place I've been born in. Everyone I know is angry and tired. They're trying to survive. But I know that there is a world out there that is better, that's better developed. And I want to live in it." Liz Murray

I think I did, when it first came out. Very inspirational.

No, it was a similar movie on lifetime channel. I want to see this one too. Thora Birch, I remember her movies as a child. Wow, she's big, and I feel old.

Did you see the movie with William H. Macy called Door to Door? It was a super good movie about a man named Bill Porter who had Cerebral Palsy. All he wanted was to be a good salesman. He worked so hard at it. Like the movie that 38 brought up, another inspiring story of a true American hero. It co-starred Kyra Sedgewick. Extra bonus -who is William H. Macy married to?

No I have not see this movie , but similar one. It was a man who was homeless , he went for interweave, had a suit but no shirt. After the interweave was completed the man ask him about hat and i think he made up some funny story and they hire him. it was a true story very inspiring .He become rich ,i think he owned company or something like that.
I also see the movie about Bill Porter. i like it very much .
