Nope I have not even heard of this series until I read your post. I did preview the trailer and saw it was and HBO series and I am not subscribed to the HBO channel so that is why I had never heard of it. What is the series about? I may have to renew my HBO subscription lol.

Katie(?): Lead actor Thomas Jane (Patricia Arquette's hubby) is a divorced high school coach (ex-wife Anne Heche) who has one tool for success in the future ... his tool. Jane Adams is his "pimp", an ex-poet office worker. Together they become Happiness Consultants ( a mini-prostitution ring... Just Ray, Jane). Ray (his last name is DRECKER)'s house burns down, forcing him to loose his twin teenagers. Ray camps in his backyard in a tent, pees in his lake, and tries to rebuild his house/life. The curves he is sent are real and entertaining. I'm surprized more folks don't watch this great show. I am hooked, sorta like Nurse Jackie. Humor from real-life shituations. It is getting a 2nd season, like Nurse Jackie

Oh that sounds like it would be a pretty good show to watch. I will have to check it out thanks for posting it as I am always up for a good series to watch:)

Sara & I love Good Wife (network show), Southland (good acting, but at times gross), Big Love (HBO polygamy), Jon Stewart (Good Political comedy & I'M not Political), Chelsea Lately (good tasteless humor, even my wife likes), Everybody Hates Chris (Cosby on Preparation H Chris Rock), Criminal Minds (but no new ones), Justified looks good (new), 30 Rock (odd humor), Sarah Silverman Show (acquired taste, like a female Pee Wee Herman), Medium is well done LOL, CSI's when nothing else on. Hope this gives ideas!!

HBO...well thought-out comic-drama w/ lots of plot twists, great characters/acting. Worth a look!

I watched it and then it disappeared. I watch it on demand and I don't remember there being a season finale show. How many epsodes were there?

Cyn: I think there were about 9 or 10, and it is coming back for Season Two, although ther has been NO advance press, except the renewal. I suspect Season ONE will precede Season TWO (hopefully). Try Programming it on your DVR. Also try Southland (gritty cop show), Parenthood (good stories/ensemble acting), The Good Wife (Juliana Margulies law show w/ Chris Noth), & Medium. ~ Gene
