Motherless Daughters Community Group
For any daughter who has lost their mother, whether through Death (if it's been one day ago or 40 years ago) or Abandonment, (i.e.-drug abuse, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, etc.) and is working through the grief process. This group provides unconditional support and understanding from women who have also lost their Moms and who truly care.
FIRST, I'M SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. AS FAR AS LETTING GO THAT'S A HARD ONE TO ANSWER. LOST MY MOM 17 YEARS AGO-SOMETIMES I FEEL I'VE LET GO , THEN OUT OF THE BLUE RIGHT BACK TO FEELING
THE LOSS SO BADLY AND NOT LETTING GO. OTHERS MAY FEEL DIFFERENTLY AS WE ALL ARE DIFFERENT BUT, THIS HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE. SORRY I COULD''NT HELP YOU MORE. HANG IN THERE IT'S ONLY BEEN A SHORT TIME. AS TIME GOES ON YOU WILL FIND YOUR ANSWER. WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.

Donna, its only been 4 months. Its taken me years to get to this point. Let time help heal your heart. In the meantime, think of your mom with love and smiles, and dry your tears with the knowledge you'll all meet again someday...
It will be 1 year on the 27th of July....*deep breath*...I don't know what letting go means, but I don't want to let go of anything!
It is 8 months since my mum passed, but dad was rushed into hospital on Sunday and I just wanted to call mum. Unfortunately dad passed this Tuesday. I know that they are back together again as they were together for over 40 years. I think this is whats keeping me going.

My deepest sympathy for you. I lost my mom Jan-22-2006 and there are days still, that I dont want to get out of bed. I feel that its not about "Letting Go" its about "Moving Past" you never need to let her memories go, or the love you have for her. Letting your Mom go is not the same as letting her death go. That will come in time, and when its the right time, you will know. Thinking of you~
