Motherless Daughters Community Group

For any daughter who has lost their mother, whether through Death (if it's been one day ago or 40 years ago) or Abandonment, (i.e.-drug abuse, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, etc.) and is working through the grief process. This group provides unconditional support and understanding from women who have also lost their Moms and who truly care.

Its almost a year and it hurts still

Well... I am a teacher and I am back at work after the Christmas thing (as my nephew called it the other day) He lost his Mom too (my Sister) anyway, last year I went back to work after the Christmas break and I was alittle sick and my Mom was sick and then the Friday ending the first week back to work..I found my Mother dead on her couch. It is all coming back to me... thegrief.. I have tried to push it away but its coming...I feel it. Ihope I can make it through.. I feel I have no one to talk to about this and I miss my Mom and Sister so very very much.
Please Pray for me because I feel sad and alone. I know you all understand what I am feeling.
There is no one that cares about you as much as a sister and Mom and dont have either of them anymore! I hate this.........

February will be a year since I lost my mom and in my opinion the pain is only getting worse. I keep waiting for it to start being ok, for the good days to finally out-number the bad but ya know what, it just isn't happening. With every day that passes I just miss her more and more.

awhh hun i'm so sorry. i don't know what i'd do with out my sister. But you'll be in my thoughts &i know they are looking out for you from heaven.

It's so hard Racquel. When the 1 year anniversary comes up the feelings feel so raw. I know my mom's birtday is coming in a few days and I feel all those feelings again. Thinking of you. Love and hugs, Rachele

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers Raquel during this very difficult time. I can't imagine the pain of losing both my Mother and my sister. The one year anniversary for my Mother was 9/9/08 and it was a really tough day for me. My Dad and I went to Mass and visited the cemetery that day. It is sixteen months today and I am still struggling. I am thinking of you.
