being depressed or freaking out with only get you guys where I am today which is with my baby boy Jayden and my daughter Kayla. I lost custody of my kids because of this and I'm still fighting to get them back and prove to everyone I'm not crazy ... Remind her losing you will be far more depressing.
So first things first.... don't tell anyone and tell her not to either. Don't even bother. Don't tell your father either until you get some answers. If you have questions about it or she does make a log in for her on here or other forums and ask qiuestions. Sometim3s just knowing your not the only one is dealing with this is enough to break the funk. What seemed so scary to me about this illness in August is now normal and manageable to me.
Tell her to start taking pictures of her wounds, the fibers, collect as much evidence as uou can of any if her symptoms, amnd document what she's telling you how she feels, what, hurts, so on. This has to be done. pictures of what's floating in the tub after a bath or all over her bed, keep a journal, and remind her to keep it up to date. I can tell when mine is acting up just by the way my skin starts to look and change. But all these things are important for the next step.
Getting the validation =
Find the right doctors to tell. Make sure they are the right ones . Don't jump the gun either. You have to almost be a doctor investigator before you decide to be forthcoming about what us really going on. Most infectious disease doctors, psychiatrists and so on are not going to believe her so don't bother,
Start with dermatologist. Feel them out. Maybe call them ahead a time pretending to be someone else and ask them if they are familiar with morgellions disease or have patients with it. That doesn't mean they support the evidence and wont call tge psych ward, lol... So hang up and call back and make an appt . Just go there and don't mention anything coming out of skin, just mention the hair loss and lesions. Request for them to do cultures of of the around those areas and see what theyh come up with first.
There are books and articles printed on the morgellons foundation website, holistic doctors aren't affordable but the are a great start. At least to steer you in the right direction. The know how to tell what your lacking and what you need tok rebuild yourself,
Check out these things as well... My house was badly Water damaged and had mold in the walls... it was vreamingb down myh immune system and making it so much worse and dabilitating. Since i left it only comes on about once a month.
I also notice it gets more aggravated when j get my perioid and I recently fouhnd ouhnd have 2 cysts in my uterus... tell her to get a sonogram of her lower abdomen if she gets lower abdominal pain.
Water supply. The water at my old house has me crawling day and night. Since ij left I only get it about monthly.
Foods she's eating. Since this started for me I've noticed a reaction to gluten and dairy that throws my whole body off track. Try to break free from foods with preservatives, cereal, I switched to nondairy creamer and almond milk,
Don't be scared. Don't worry about it being contagious either. Be strong for your mom. If it turns out being contagious I think the big is up for you anyway at this point, lol... it's your mom and you live together. There are arguments as to whether it is or isn't, I'm sure one day they will figure that shit out... but that doesn't matter but now, just help your mom, love her, occupy her mind away from this shitty illness. Help her remember whyh life if worth living.
This disease is manageable Jaiden. Maybe not incurable, but with the right antibiotics, therapists, direction, and friends... You can and will get you mom back. Good luck.
What works:
Diet- no gluten, no GMO, no sugar- limit carbs. Pay attention to oils/fat, limit dairy- SCD diet info tells you why... converts to sugar
Supplement- whey powder, diatomaceous earth, borax/boron, wormwood/Artemesia, oregano oil also seems to help, kelp (for iodine)
Bath- borax/peroxide, Alaffia African Black Soap- with Neem, Sea salt (especially Himalayan)
Environment- ammonia, windex, peroxide, edta, borax, diatomaceous earth, cedar, pine, sage- burn sandalwood incense & beeswax (pure) candles
gargle with salt water(Himalayan sea salt), use myrrh or meek toothpaste
& laundry- very important- use borax, oxyclean powder, and liquid oxyclean. Be cautious with wool, cotton, and natural fibers- limit from wardrobe- treat with cedar (tie up in plastic bag with drops of cedar/cedar spray). Cedar in closets... drawers
I’m so sorry you are being subjected to this horrible disease through your mother’s suffering. From what I come to understand about it being contagious your immune system has to be compromised. Don’t share any towels, sheets or clothing. Wash your things separate. Also your mom needs to realize she’s in control not the disease. Talk to your dad about your concerns. I’m sorry it has taken long to reply. Get plenty of rest, exercise and sunshine. God be with you!
