I have had Mono for a year now. The symptoms were less over the summer. But it has come back worse than ever. If I run more than a few errands a day the next day my body is filled with horrible pain.
I'm talking severe! I can't even wash my hair without tears running down my face. Sometimes it can take up to 48hrs for it to go away.
Does anyone else get severe body aches?

Many of people who have had mono have body aches, from mild to severe.
My understanding is that after some time, it is no longer referred to as mono but as M.E/C.F.S and/or fibromyalgia (see the support groups) and body aches are one of the possible symptoms. Mine are in the tighs, especially the left one. Not as painful as yours it seems, but donlt worry I have other symptoms that more than make up for the "tolerability" of the pain in the limbs.
