A place of support for mothers with a child incarcerated. A place to share the pain and find comfort with those who are walking on the same hard path. A place where together we can be stronger and help our children cope with their time behind bars.

When I see Craig in prison next time it will be a contact visit instead of behind glass...

Maybe I will be aloud to hold his hand... seems like years went by since his 10 year sentencing...

its only been three months...i send hugs to Mothers on Daily Strength...

I have been lucky in that I never had to visit behind glass. I hope you have a wonderful visit and make sure you get that extra squeeze in. Hugs to you and all, sharon

I'ts hardest on Mothers like us when our kids get sick are in trouble...

No one knows how their children will turn out...

Saturday I am planning to visit Craig....i want to bring Craig and the inmates homemade cookies but no way the prison will allow it...

My daughter was sent 2 weeks ago. It will be another 30 days before she is even eligible for a vist. It will be a contact visit. With time already served, she has 3 years, 7 months to go.

To Elisa: If you wouldn't mind sharing with me what it was like. I don't know what state you are in and I am sure all states are different. By the date you posted this, it seems time has been served and for that I pray all is well and healed. But as a Mom experiencing this I'd like to know what to expect. Thanks in advance
