I'm so very sorry for your loss. My first miscarriage is the only one where I found out I was m/c'ing before it actually happened. I found out of Christmas Eve during an u/s that I would m/c. They sent me in the have my hCG drawn that same day and then again 2 days later. I started bleeding right before getting my second labs done. I bled for a few days and lost a fair amount of big clots. I don't know when exactly the baby came out but I think it was about the 29th. I had really painful cramps the first night of the bleeding. It was like period cramps but 10 times worse. It's horrible having to wait to lose your baby once you know it's going ot happen. It's hard enough to go through losing a baby, but to have to go through the wait just makes it worse. It breaks my heart than another woman has to go through this. Take care, honey.

Im very sorry about your loss I also had a mc 6.5 weeks and it wont take long at all but then 9th sept I mc @ 12 and it took ages my cycles are only getting back now and took 2 half month to get a negative on hpt but after my mc @ 6.5 I got neg after a couple of days hope you are ok and if you need to talk I am hear previouly had 2 mc a terrible experience which I dont want to happen again.

Hey sweetie, again, I'm so so sorry. My m/c was not as routine. My body didn't start to miscarry even 2 weeks after I found out I lost her. So, I had a D&C, where they put me to sleep and got the pregnancy out. I left that day from the hospital and had quite a bit of cramping and lower back pain. I don't want you to think this will happen but I'd much rather you know what the possibilities are. A week later my Hcg was drawn and not going down which indicated I had "retained pregnancy" left over so I had another D&C. But, the difference is that my situation was rare and my cervix had sealed itself shut so I'm kind of a goofy case. If you have any questions or concerns about a D&C I can fill you in as you would like. Oh, I was 11 weeks along but baby only measured 9 weeks 6 days. Let me know how you are doing and take advantage of some good tlc.

First, I'm very sorry for your loss/ When I lost Angel I was at ten weeks though according to the doc, she quit developing at six. My first ultrasound was december 18, 2007, which was when I found out there was no heartbeat. I started spotting with heavy cramping two days later and on Friday morning, the 21st I "delivered" her in my shower. Carriedawn said it best...when you KNOW you're losing your baby having to wait it out is beyond horrible. Fortunately the ladies here have become my second family and the friendship and support that I've found here has made a big difference. No one else seems to get it.

I am sorry for you loss. I don't know how long it takes or what to expect. I lost my first pregnancy in the second trimester and delivered my twins through natural childbirth. My second pregnancy I lost at 8 weeks and opted for a D&C right away as I didn't want to wait on the process... Again, I am so sorry. If you need anything, we are all here for you.

I am so sorry what you are going through. I am going through the same found out a week ago the same thing i have had just like a period with a few clots got to go back the hospital for a scan tomorrow to check to see if it is clear and have blood test to check the hormone levals take care.

Hi Amy. I'm so sorry for your loss. I cannot tell you what to expect, I miscarried at 9 weeks and had no bleeding or cramping at all. It was discovered at my ultrasound appointment. I'm not sure what's in store for you with the cervix being closed. I had terrible cramps, severe bank pain, and then the bleeding. I had a heartbeat on a Monday and then had a miscarriage on that Tuesday. My body progressed naturally and it took about 8 weeks total for me to get back to normal...meaning stopped spotting and menustrate.

It sounds like you may be a good candidate for a D&C if you aren't having any bleeding now. I'd go for an U/S and have your levels checked again. They'll be able to see if there is any remaining tissue.

My little one stopped developing at 4 weeks, I found out I was pregnant @ 7.5 weeks. 3 days later, I started spotting, (I had spotting with my son, so I didn't think it was anything to worry about) 3 days later went in to the dr, my cervix was closed.Checked HCG levels & did an ultrasound, decided maybe I wasn't as far along as we thought or I miscarried. Went back 2 days later, checked HCG levels. Went to the dr ad found out I "Officially" miscarried. My dr gave me some capsules to do vaginally & I passed at home, with pain pills. I didn't progress on my own, but I feel I was lucky in being able to do it @ home without hospitalization. I was 8 weeks when I passed it. So I went 4 weeks, after the baby stopped developing, but my body was still acting like I was pregnant. I am so sorry you are going thru this, I agree with all the ladies & say that waitin garound is the hardest part, that week of trying to decide what was going on was the hardest week of my life.
