Hey Ladies,
I'm not doing so great. Lost my baby two days before Easter at 9 weeks 3 days. Had some light spotting and being that I had a miscarriage in 2007 I immediately went to the hospital and was told there was no heartbeat and the sac was only measuring 6 weeks. The absolute worst moment of my life.
I wasn't able to see my doctor until the following Wednesday after my already scheduled ultrasound, for some reason they didn't find it an urgency to get me in there. The ultra sound showed the same things. They actually were decently compassionate but of course the waiting room is full of women with their big bellies. They gave me some medicine for me to pass everything at home being that I stopped bleeding and the doctor didn't want to perform another d&c on me. I had one in 2007 at the age of 17 I got pregnant and had a miscarriage. The medicine made me pass a little bit but not what I expected at all. I continued to bleed for the next month. They just monitored my hcg levels every week or so to make sure the were dropping. They did so ever so slowly. Ten weeks after the first visit I went for an ultrasound to check the size of a cyst on my ovary and found that my uterus lining looked thick and irregular they did another blood hcg and found that it was still hanging around 30. I was scheduled a d & c for the following Friday.
I already deal with anxiety and some depression but I've been dealing with those. When I found out I was pregnant I wasn't worried or anything. I was excited and a bit stressed but excited. It's been almost two weeks since the d & c and I feel like I'm losing my mind. I started seeing a therapist again and have a doctors appointment tomorrow that will hopefully help me with my medicine but getting through everyday, going to work, pretending that my heart isn't broken in two is really hard. I miss my baby. I miss knowing I would hold her (I think she was a girl) One of my closest friends just had a baby boy six weeks ago. I've visited her twice since his birth. No one understands. I'm 24 years old and every girl I know is having a baby. Facebook is overloaded with pictures of newborns and families I could literally name 10 girls right this minute that are pregnant. I don't know why the depression hit me three months later. I don't know why it's so hard now. I guess since the physical part is finally over. I hate to be jealous but I am.

I don't have much to say other than I'm sorry that you lost your baby and I understand how much it sucks to pretend that everything is okay when everything is NOT okay. I wouldn't wish this heartache on anyone. I'm here if you need to talk.
