Happy mother's day...

I know for all of us who lost our first child there will be no acknowledgement that we are also mothers; no happy mother's day wish, no breakfast in bed, presents or cards...
to the rest of the world our angels in heaven are not really children and we will suffer this day in sadness alone.

so I thought I would wish us all a happy mothers day, no one can take away the fact that we carried in side of us, for however long, that little life we so miss and wish had staid with us every minute of every day...

Hear hear!

We are all mothers and always will be. Just because we don't get to hug our babies doesn't mean that they didn't exist and we don't love them. NOBODY can take that away from us.

I agree ladies Happy Mother's Day to all of us and thank you. I have decided to give myself mother's day gifts because my child cannot. It does make it a little easier and I have flower's that i know my child will keep from weeping as long as he can. So again Happy mother's day and if no one gives you the gift you deserve find it yourself. TAke care everyone

Happy Mother's Day
Even if the rest of the world doesn't recognize it, anyone that carried a baby, for however long or short, is a mommy and deserves recognition.

I cried when I read this ... I am trying so hard to stay positive and love on my girls that I know are also struggling with their losses as well. I hadn't really heard a Happy Mother's Day to me yet and it just felt ... needed. So thank you so much. I did need to read this today as I am preparing for MD. Saturday this day is also my child's fifth month inside me had my little one lived. Been a hard day.

Thanks so much lina and to all the ladies on here. I am quite sure that this is the only "Happy Mother's Day" I'll be getting. It's sad that many people won't acknowledge that women who were pregnant and now have babies in heaven are mothers. I have been contemplating this issue for some time now as I just wondered thinking about what makes someone a mother? Am I really a mom even though I don't have the proof of a living baby here with me on Earth? But why wouldn't I be? I was pregnant twice so of course I'm a mommy!
