Still no AF

A little background. On March the 6th I started to miscarry, a pregnancy that was about 5-6 weeks along. I started the main bleeding for this on
March 12th, and it was finished in about 4 days or so. (Sorry, TMI) AF has still not come and its pretty frustrating. I went to the doctors about a week ago cause I was having a lot of cramping, which I had a lot of when I was pregnant, but he tested and said I wasn't pregnant, but I did have a UTI. I finished taking the meds for that now, but I am still having a lot of cramping. Its so frustrating, it constantly feels like I will get my period, because of all the cramping. Could it be tissue left over from the m/c that is causing it? Has anyone else had this happen too?

Did you have a D& C??? Because I don't know what the effects of that are, I never had one, I just let myself miscarry then I watched my AF for about a month after ... AF came about two weeks later ... I went to the OB and like you, made sure I was no longer pregnant but then five days later, on March 1st, AF came again stayed with me for THREE weeks ... literally it sucked and I'm actually extremely anemic because of all of this recently. So I think it depends on if you had a D&C ... I really wish I had gotten one, but I also know that I haven't really met a lot of other women who had the same type of miscarriage as me.

and aside from all the medical stuff ... I know you must be in some really extreme heart pain, it's seriously the worst pain I could have ever imagined. Know that we are here for you, the women on this site we know your pain, we have probably had most of the same thoughts and feelings ... so let it out and don't be afraid to get it out on this site. This site is so good for writing out the things we can't seem to say to people close to us on the outside ... and it's with people who just seem to get us. I have found extreme comfort with women here.

I know that with a D&C they say that your period will come between 4 and six weeks after the procedure (I was told 6 weeks was the norm)
I don't know about natural though, but I have heard that if any tissue is left inside it can delay AF even more...

I would call your doctor just in case
