In Feb. I had an appointment for teeth cleaning with my dentist, but since I was nauseous, during my pregnancy, I called and canceled the appointment. I told them I was pregnant and feeling sick, but would reschedule as soon as I felt better.
I miscarried at 19 weeks pregnant. .Since I was in my second trimester, everyone knew I was pregnant... family, friends, co-workers. Everyone now knows about my miscarriage... except my dentist and everyone in my dentists office. I thought I was finally over that hump of having to tell people or "face" people with the news.
Dilemma is that now I think I have a cavity... I should probably go to the dentist but am postponing it. Why? Because I don't know what to say to them. I've been going to that office for 10 yrs. What I am supposed to say? I'm obviously not pregnant anymore. I just don't want to deal with explaining my miscarriage again and hearing people's comments and seeing their reactions. Part of me wants to find a new dentist, just so I can avoid the awkwardness.
IS it strange to feel this way?

For some reason I got a bill for my babies autopsy again and again, because the bill was for baby And we had never added her to my insurance. It took 6 months to settle and it was horrible. I really wish I had asked someone for help about it.
Everyone at my work knew about my loss also. I hated it. If you can believe it less than 5 of the hundred + people that knew ever said anything. I got a lot of emails.
