So nervous

I just found out that I am pregnant again, after a miscarriage just over a month ago. I hadn't had my first AF yet. Last time, they checked my HCG on the day I started miscarrying and it was around 200. Today, I got a call saying that my HCG was 2186. I am so nervous that it could happen again, however the higher level makes me feel a little bit better. I am going for an ultrasound tomorrow. Has anyone else gotten pregnant before there first AF and had a healthy pregnancy?

I cant imagine how nervous you must be! Just remember that SOOOOO many immediate pregnancies after miscarriage go on to be healthy :) Try to think positively! That is a great HCG level for only being a few weeks in!
I have 3 friends who that has happened to and their babies are perfectly healthy now. Just keep your chin up! Let us know how it goes!

I had my first ultrasound today and it went great. I am 5 weeks and according to the ultrasound, the gestational and yolk sacs are the right size when you measure it against the hcg levels. They could see the fetal pole or heartbeat yet, but we should be able to see those in about a week, although I'm sure I won't be back for an ultrasound for a while. We are very excited, but still super nervous too.

Omg that is awesome news. I know that you are still nervous and I would be too. But that is awesome that it's going well so far.

This happened to my mom when she had a miscarriage and she got pregnant with my sister before she ever got AF and my sis is perfectly healthy! I actually have not go AF yet and think I might be pregnant so I am on the same boat as you are. I know its stupid but I am also nervous that my OBGYN will get upset that I got preg before one cycle, what did your doc say?

Different doctors have told me different things. I don't have a family doc right now because I am new to the city, so I have to go to a clinic and I see a different doctor almost every time. I had one doctor get really mad at me, but she was like "its going to be really hard to date you, you know." But all the other doctors said its perfectly fine. I wouldn't be pregnant if my body wasnt ready yet.

Congratulations. I know my friend's sister did. I unfortunately cannot say I did. Just try to keep positive thoughts and try not to worry too much. My doctor said when I conceive again that he would like me to find something to do that I find relaxing... hopefully you can do the same. Good luck at your ultrasound.
