hi ladies.

i am just wondering how long it took you to get a natural period after your loss? I am four weeks since and nothing yet. too soon?

You know, for me, it differed after each of my losses. Anywhere from a month to three months on my last one.

I ovulated for the first time last weekend exactly 4 weeks after my D&C so I figure I should get my period in 2-3 weeks. I've heard it can take 3 months though. The waiting game is a blast huh?

I'm so so sorry for your loss.

My RE said 4-6 weeks before a period. My 2nd mc was in mid-June of this year and my RE said if I did not have a period by the end of July to let him know. It finally showed up about 4.5 weeks after. My first mc I had a D&C and then had to go on birth control for 6 weeks to prepare for a uterine surgery that I had, so the 2nd one is all I have to go by.

Emotionally getting that period is tough...or it can be. I cried and got angry all over again. I pray for your peace as you get through this.

It took eight weeks and that was after my doctor put me on BC to get my period back. But then it was very light. Not much of a period at all. Doctor told me not to worry since I bled so much during my miscarriage. I have to take iron for four months to get my blood count back to normal.

it seems so unfair to deal with this after already dealing with our loss. I am so very sorry for all of you, to have gone through this.

Mine was 2 days shy of 4 weeks after the bleeding stopped.

Mine is just starting, today is exactly 4 weeks since my D&C. My RE said my period will start anywhere from 4-6 weeks, and it might be a worse than normal period, and mine are awful to begin with. I have heard the first period after a mc can last a lot longer.

I can't remember how long it was after my first miscarriage. With my second miscarriage, I believe it was 4 weeks after.

With my 7 week loss I m/c naturally and that took 3 months for AF to return. With my 17 week loss I had a D&C so AF showed a month later. My most recent 22 week loss was natural birth, no D&C after. AF showed about 3 and 1/2 weeks later. Each loss has been different.

I found out I lost my baby 10.23.2013 and my baby came out 11.05.2013 and i have been on my period since then

well, AF came to visit on Monday - two days short of 5 weeks since my miscarriage. very bittersweet.
