Missing Nicholas

I miscarried my son, Nicholas, on Jan. 22, 2007. I recently released balloons in his memory on Jan. 22, 2013.... what I refer to as his 6th birthday. I still miss him...even though I never got to hold him, or even see him. I see him in my dreams sometimes. I have a hard time referring to myself as a mom....but I am his mommy.... and I always will be.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You are and always will b his mommy so don't ever forget that. I lost my baby November 19 2012 and I still suffer everyday

I'm so sorry for your loss. I still struggle with the concept of whether I'm a mom or not, certainly don't talk to anyone about it cuz it's such a "weird" concept/feeling, but technically we made choices that were in the best interest of the child we were carrying and I feel that makes us a mom. If you have a moment, there are a few posts dedicated to this subject, they aren't very old, so they should be easy to find. You might take a little time to read them and get some comfort.

My heart breaks for you. And you are without a doubt his mom. The moment of conception makes you a mom. And I even consider moms to be those for whom conception is a yearning in their heart but has been elusive.
I can relate to the missing and the heartache.
I'm so sorry you're going through this. I understand that deep pain of wanting to hold and see the child.
I like that you did something in his memory.
