Hi all, found out yesterday after going for 10 weeks scan that I have had a silent miscarriage and our baby only survived to 5 weeks. The midwife gave my partner and I time to come to terms with the news and a lot of information on miscarriage to take away with us. After leaving the hospital I remembered the midwife asking us to come next week for a rescan and to set the procedure off if the miscarriage hasn't happened naturally. I'm not happy carrying my unsurvived baby around for the next week as emotionally it's a toll. But the hospital refuse to move the procedure forward as they need two scans. I find this very unfair as I want to come to terms with the loss of our baby, it's hard enough as it is xx
I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I had a "silent" miscarriage a couple weeks ago and I had to wait 4 days before having the d&c procedure. It was so hard emotionally to carry the failed pregnancy even that short amount of time. I hope you've been able to come to terms with what you experienced. It's such a terrible thing to go through, but you're not alone.
