I found myself on this site today for some reason after being inactive for 2 years.
And I've responded to a couple of other posts, and I likewise did not want yours to go unanswered to. This actually was a very very active site consisting of a very close-knit group just a couple years ago.
I just wanted to drop you a line and encourage you.
My TTC story came to an end about 4 years ago. Age was a factor for me.
But even though my story ending isn't what yours will be, I wanted to at least reach out and tell you that I understand the anxiety of trying again after a pregnancy loss.
I felt that bittersweet feeling as well after a pregnancy loss. It was an incredibly sad time. But it was also a break and relief from the TTC cycle...a break from the worry and wonder I guess you could say in a sense.
And when we tried again, it was exciting but also anxiety provoking as you describe.
It's ok to have mixed feelings about it. It's normal to have what ifs running through your mind. I think it would actually be hard not to.
So my advice would be to be kind to yourself and not expect yourself to feel one way or another.
I have a number of friends who experienced pregnancy loss and then became pregnant within a couple months or more after the loss and successfully went on to have a baby.
It happens all the time.
You're not alone. Many women try soon after. And it's OK to be nervous. Sending you good wishes on your journey.
