I had a natural miscarriage last September at week 8 and haven't been able to get pregnant since. I am starting the IVF process now. First night of giving myself shots start tonight! Eeeek....

My HCG levels came back after both of those bad news ultrasounds and the levels had doubled. The doctors and nurses were stumped so I went in for a repeat ultrasound again a week later and they officially diagnosed me with a molar pregnancy. Not sure if anyone knows what that may be but short definition it is a non-viable egg that overgrows into a tumor cell or mass of tumor cells and doesn't stop growing without removing. I had to get a D&C to remove the tumor and unfortunately I am not able to try again for another year due to the possibility of harming a future fetus. I also have to get monthly HCG levels drawn to make sure that NO tumor cells were left behind in my uterus. This has been by far the most difficult year for me, especially the last few months. And I feel all of your pain when you continue to try and try, only to be let down and discouraged. I found all this out beginning of August and for that first month I was in a horrible emotional state. Really what brought me out of it and helped me believe that everything would be okay was God and knowing that he has plan for my husband and I. I truly believe in his word and have made strives to make my life better emotionally, mentally, and physically. I trust that God knew it was not the right time again for my husband and I, and we can start up trying again next July-August. I am hoping and praying for success or answers to our prayers.
I wish each and everyone of you happiness and send lots of hope and prayers that you continue to believe in yourselves and believe in the power of God. I am so thankful to have found this blog, so that I can have support and be a supportive person for everyone that is struggling with similar issues. God Bless all of you and thank you for the kind words and support which is everything I needed during this difficult time!
