I am so happy to have found a support group I can talk about my miscarriages to. It helps to just let it out sometimes.
I have had 5 miscarriages and 1 daughter who passed away 6 weeks after birth due to renal failure cns hemmorhage and hypoplastic left heart syndrome.
My very first miscarriage happened 4 months after the birth of my 4th child. I was only 9 weeks along but I passed it in my panties on my way to the dr to get an ultrasound. That was very traumatic and because it was my first miscarriage it really messed with my head. I talked with a counselor and got myself together.
My second miscarriage was Cameron Anthony he was a boy. I was 20 weeks pregnant. I went to the hospital 3 days following up to the day I had him because I was having consistent contractions and they wouldn't listen to me. They were coming about every 8 mins and were very consistent. All they had to do was give me meds to stop my labor but they just sent me home. The day I lost him I woke up that morning and started to clean my house and forget about the cramps but my water broke about 45 mins after getting up. My husband was on deployment at the time and I had 3 younger kids at home so my sister sat with them and I drove myself to the hospital. I almost wrecked twice because of the pain in my belly. By the time I got to the hospital he was coming out. I ended up delivering a 1lb 2oz baby boy and they wouldn't even let me touch him. My heart was so crushed and I felt so lost and I just didn't understand why. They did a pathology report on him that said he was perfectly normal but I had a retro placental hemmorhage that caused me to go into preterm labor.
My third miscarriage I was again 9 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound that showed a little baby bean with a beating heart beat. I went back the next week for another ultrasound (they were watching me close until I was out of what they call the danger zone.) Well that ultrasound confirmed my babys heart was no longer beating. I ended up having a natural miscarriage. I felt this baby was going to be a boy and I named him Christian David.
My fourth miscarriage two months after my 3rd happened when I was just 6 weeks pregnant. I had only confirmed my pregnancy by an at home test. I had blood work with my Dr to check my hcg and the first two draws 3 days apart confirmed they were dropping and I was going to miscarry yet again. I was crushed but let nature takes it course and i naturally miscarried within 2 days.
My fifth miscarriage was July 2017. Her name was serenity nashelle and I was 19 weeks with her when I miscarried.I had an ultrasound and it showed her heart no longer beating so I went to the hospital to deliver her and leave empty handed and empty hearted. They did a pathology report on her to which showed she was very healthy and had nothing wrong with her. Which made me so happy but broke my heart to because I knew it was something my body was doing. I think of all my babies often because they were real, I was pregnant
