I'm so sorry this happened to you and your boyfriend. I know it's awful. I've had a few miscarriages, but I think that first one was the worst because it's so shocking. I mean, you *know* what a miscarriage is, but you just never think it's going to happen to you.
Please know (and the doctors will probably tell you this) that once a miscarriage starts, there's nothing you can do to stop it. So please don't beat yourself up for not going to the doctor sooner.
Sleeping problems is normal, too, after a miscarriage. I used to wake up at 4AM and just wander around the house. I felt like a ghost. When I was sleeping, my husband said he would hear me whimpering.
It might help to see a grief counselor or a therapist.
Big hug!!!
Please know that this was NOT your fault. There was nothing you or anyone could have done to prevent it. Sadly it was just natures way
If you are able to cry then cry as much as you need to, let all of your emotions out there's no shame in it. It's not a weakness. Its really great you and your boyfriend can cry together, i really struggled to cry because my partner was being so strong.
The physical pain should ease off soon. Once the bleeding stops it will be a bit easier to focus on dealing with the pain. But take pain killers if you need to but for the emotional i agree it may help to talk to someone, i found it alot easier to open up to a counsellor.
Grieving takes time so dont rush yourself, let all your emotions out and dont be scared to ask for help.
I am herr if you need to talk. Thinking of you xx
I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you. So glad you're on this site. These women are all so amazing and supportive. Just take your time to grief and cry whenever you feel like it. You are in my prayers!
Lots of hugs to you!

"An Angel in the Book of Life wrote down my baby's birth, then quietly closed it whispering, "Too beautiful for earth"
Sometimes it helps me to know that there are SO MANY women who have been through the same thing. But then I think I'm just another statistic. I get so jealous of the women who don't know our pain. But I think I'll appreciate my future children so much more because of it. I absolutely loved both of my lost babies with all of my heart, but losing them I think (or at least hope) will make me a better mother.

dont beat yourself up about it. it was NOT your fault. i know its easier said than done, over a year later and i still feel the guilt. But there is almost nothing that can be done once a miscarriage starts.
try to take comfort knowing your baby is in heaven watching over you. God bless and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
