I had a miscarriage last week. Started bleeding on Monday, was told it was normal for women to have some light bleeding early on (I was at six weeks) and not to worry unless it got heavier or didn’t stop in a day or two. It got bad Tuesday morning, so I went to the er by ambulance, where I was told my baby was gone. The doctor was awful. He told me that something went wrong with the implantation, it happens, just think of it as a bad period and move on. I don’t want to just move on! I want to mourn my baby. I hadn’t even told the father I was pregnant yet. I had only known for two days. He and I aren’t together, he’s a friend of mine and our situation is complicated. The baby was conceived during a threesome with his girlfriend, my best friend, or so I thought. We have since had a falling out over something unrelated to us sleeping together and she doesn’t want him having contact with me. He’s respecting her wishes, even though he disagrees with them, so I still haven’t gotten to tell him. I’ve asked to speak to them together, but she’s ignoring me. I just want him with me, to be able to lean on him and mourn our child together.
