My hubby had to work today, but we stopped by his parent's house on his way to work. His parents lectured us the entire time we were there- almost made him late to work- about us trying to have a baby at 20 & 21 years old. They don't know about my fertility problems, but they have seen posts about our 4 losses on facebook. Instead of saying sorry for the loss of their grandchildren, they told us we weren't ready for a kid. We couldn't afford a kid. We weren't mature enough to have a kid. We do nothing but party since he turned 21- (THE ALCOHOL HE BOUGHT ON HIS 21st BIRTHDAY IN SEPTEMBER IS STILL SITTING IN OUR CABINET) and I seriously wanted to get up and walk out. I was so angry and upset and ready to go off on them... I didn't, because I love him and I don't want to be the one who ruins the relationship between them... But I was so angry. They had no right to tell us we can't have kids for another 5-10 years... Especially with fertility issues... We feel as if we wait more than a few years we may cut it too close, even with fertility treatments... This was the worst thanksgiving ever... Especially since we should have had either of our first two angels with us this year...

I am so sorry for your losses and the way your husbands parents treated you. They had no right to tell you when you could have kids! Especially with your situation , I understand why having kids so young is important. Do what you want to do and not what everyone else thinks you do. You're little angels are watching over you today.. Take care!

I'm so sorry to hear what happened on thanksgiving. You don't need that especially from them. They should be supporting you decision your an adult and so is your husband. You guys do what you guys feel is right for you. Don't mind them I know that's easier said than done because they are your husbands parents but when you do have a child and they have a grandchild to love and fall all over they are not even gonna care. Of this I'm pretty sure. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. Sending lots of baby dust your way.

I am so sorry for everything you are going through. I cannot imagine going through that and you are a stronger person than I am. I wish they could be more supportive of you two, but they should also be respective of your wishes. I think maybe if they did know about your issues then maybe they would be less difficult on you both. But, it is your choice to live your life the way you want to. My parents have always made me feel like crap for doing what makes me happy, but I have learned that in order to make everyone happy, I have to be miserable so it is time for me to put myself first. No one can tell you whether or not you are ready for a child. Heck, I don't think anyone is ready for a child at any age or stage in life. If it feels right for you both keep trying. It will happen in its own time (: I am so sorry you did not get to enjoy your holiday. My heart goes out to you!

Thats so horrible, my mum just last night told me my youngest daughter would of hated having a baby in the house so the miscarriage was a blessing.....
This from the same mother who became a monster growing up and blamed it all on the miscarriage she had.

I'm so sorry they have implied your characters are so wild you're not ready. People can be so damn heartless and rude.

what is it about the holidays that make people think they can say what they want. Stay strong and don't fall to their level. Having a baby is about you and your husband...no one else. If you are ready then thats all that matters. Keep the faith and good luck.

His parents have no right to say that stuff to you. I'm really sorry for your losses =/ they should be understanding. the best i could say is ignore them and do what you guys want to do. I'm afraid i have fertility issues and am not able to get pregnant.

just ignore them. if u ever wanna talk, i'm here for youu.
