From reading here it seems like everyone had to wait forever for AF... I am in a completely opposite boat. I bled for 6 1/2 weeks following the m/c, with a 3 day break between weeks 4 and 5... I went to the dr last thurs and she did a blood test (in addition to the pap and pelvic) and told me everything had returned to normal. Yesterday I started bleeding again, only a week after the bleeding stopped. The cramps are immense and the bleeding is very heavy with a lot of clots which is both normal for me with AF and consistent with the bleeding I had since the m/c. I was awake almost all of last nite running to the bathroom feeling a strong pressure in my lower abdomen and the feeling like I had to pass a large clot. Nothing came... I was scheduled for an u/s tomorrow but called them to tell them the bleeding started again. She said it wasnt a problem for the regular u/s but I would have to make a second trip for the probing one. Since the place is almost an hour away I opted to cancel until I am clear. Anyone have a similar situation? Is this AF or another by-product of the m/c?
