ON Thursday it would be my beautiful angel's first birthday and as the date draws near, I am feeling the sadness really creep in...
Today I haven't had a very good day. I thought my period was late, took a HPT only to have another BFN ( I suffer from unexplained infertility so a BFN is hard to take after 5 years of trying and one miscarriage).
to make matters worse, my very pregnant student had a presentation to do today so her very pregnant belly was for a good fifteen minutes pointed directly at my face, another reminder of what I lost, and something which I obviously I couldn't avoid. and I will have to see her tomorrow again, the day before my angel's b'day (God help me get through it)
This afternoon, my DH went shopping for groceries, when he got home, I just had a few tears rolling down my cheeks, the sadness had become too much. He asked what was wrong, I told him I am having a hard day, and what makes it hardest is that no one cares about my angel. He got angry and said to me, I care! to which I replied... no you don't really, would you have remembered without me having to tell you... anyway as we argued I asked him if he remembered when we had lost the baby (since he obviously knew the baby's due date because I told him) yes, he said it was the 13th...
I just looked at him and all I could say was no, not even close (we were told our little one was gone on the 7th of April, 2010, and I just walked away, because his answer just confirmed exactly what I already knew.
No one cares, and no one but me remembers my baby...

I chose to give mine a name though I never got to know a gender, I've found it has helped me cope alot. Why don't you buy a balloon and let it off in memory? only an idea, I'm so sorry you feel so alone through this. You would of been a great mother I can feel it, your baby was lucky to be so loved and to be so remembered and still cared for
