Ballons sound like a bealutiful tribute :) That almost seems like something I could look at and smile through my tears about. Ill be thinking about you in this week ahead. I cant even imagine what a due date will feel like. I broke into tears thinking about mine- Oct- today.
I thought about maybe getting a birth stone on a ring or necklace around the due date. Something I could wear when I wanted to... not a secret, but we all know the world doesnt want to talk about it all the time. but if someone mentions how nice it is i would love to tell them why I have it.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost my baby on dec 3, 2010, i was exactly 12 weeks along when i found out their was no heartbeat. It was the most traumatic experience of my life and it is hard to find others who understand the kind of pain this involves. Every thursday i would wonder how far along i would have been for about four months afterward. I have been doing well lately but i still have sad moments where it feels like i cant breathe. Next week is my due date also on the 16th, just one day after yours. I am not sure what i am going to do that day but what i want to do is take the day off of work so i can go somewhere alone and feel sorry for myself. I am definitely going to plant a spruce that day for my baby. I think the balloon idea is great and it gave me an idea to fill my whole house up with balloons. Maybe that will help on such a sad day.

I'm sorry hun. My due date was May 4th and I took the day to spend on myself. I read a book, I cooked my favorite treats, and I ignored housework and homework. I set up a memorial box for Jackson and finished making a plaque for him that now hangs on my wall. I framed the certificate I got from the Shrine of the Unborn at the Church of the Holy Innocents. They entered his name into the book of life and emailed me the certificate on the 2nd. To me, that will always end up being his "birth date", the 2nd. It was free to do, and the frame was something I picked up at Walmart. Here's the link:

My mom and sister also made sure I was ok all day long by talking to me on the phone about 5 times each. Let your mom know that your due date is coming up and that you're feeling upset... maybe she'll make a fuss over you.
