Like I said, everyone is different. Listen to your emotions and let yourself grieve. Hopefully your husband is supportive to you during this time...It has actually brought me and my husband closer together. Hopefully you will have similar support.
About six months ago, it hit me. And it hit me ten fold. Now, don't get me wrong - when I found out that I lost our baby, my world was gone from under my feet. The drop from extreme bliss to extreme hell was flattening. The day after my D&C I literally acted as though I was never even pregnant. I wouldn't talk about it, I wouldn't bring it up, and I for sure didn't deal with it. I thought that if I stowed it away that it would make it so it wasn't real.
You need to feel it. You need to cry, scream, write, vent, stay in bed, whatever it takes. Whatever you feel you need to do, do it. Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you have to get over it - because in time, you will slowly get your strength and courage back and heal. I'm sorry for your loss.
You will get through this.
