Hi everyone. I just wanted to see if any of you have been on clomid and what the results were. I was put on it yesterday and I will take it for 5 days. I'll go back to the doctor on Tuesday to see how many eggs I released. Dont know when he wants me to start trying again. Maybe we'll do the same thing next month and maybe try then. I dont know. Well let me know your experiences with this. Does it mean when I get pregnant there could be more than one baby it there? Dont really know alot about it. Thanks Monica

My doctor had me try again right after my ultra-sound. I was told to bed for 4 days in a row and then when ever I wanted to also. I was preg. two weeks later. And yes you do have a higher chance of having twins or triplets. Good luck and have fun.

The rate of twins is low but it can happen> I think it's only a 5% chance. Good luck my daughter was conceived of clomid 5 yrs ago. One m/c in Nov.

I took Chlomid for 3 months and the Dr. advised to not get pregnant before then. After the 3 months I got pregnant and ended up having a healthy son, now 17. I had previously had a miscarriage and D&C and that's why I was put on Chlomid prior to conceiving again. I'm also an RH- blood type, so had to get a Rhogam injection after my miscarriage and one after my son.

I don't want to put you off but clomid didn't work for me. I was very disappointed. I have heard you can have more than one baby if you conceive. Good luck

I was put on clomid with my second and third pregnancy. So it works. I lost my second pregnancy so I'm trying to stay very positive about this pregnancy. I was told that most women get pregnant on clomid by the third time taking it. My doctor was not going to keep me on it longer than 4 months. I got pregnant this time on the third try. Clomid is one of the oldest fertility treatments and the good thing is that Clomid is the base line of fertility treatments so if it doesn't work there is a TON of other options. I discussed a lot of other options with my doctor before getting pregnant this time. Good luck and STAY positive, it is the best thing you can do...positive thinking equals positive results! :o)

I got pregnant on my first cycle using clomid. I conceived twins. I lost my twins at 15 weeks due to an infection and I am now on my first month of TTC and using clomid again. It works and yes, there can be more than one baby in there. 3 of my friends have used clomid and all of us conceived twins.

I used clomid many times before I finally conceived and had my son (now 2) with the aid of Clomid. If it doesn't work with you this time around your doc. may have you try it again and then they may increase your dosage. If it weren't for Clomid I wouldn't have my son - we tried again with the aid of Clomid and lost our baby January 5th of this year (no fault of Clomid). Your chances of multiples are slim - more of a chance for twins than anything else. Good luck and I hope it all goes well for you.
