It was EXCRUTIATING to sit in the dr office with pregnant women all around me, listening to a strong heartbeat coming from a sonogram in the next room while my blood was being taken and being asked by strangers "how far along I am" when filling out paperwork.
I am also sorry for the dr's comments...I can already feel how hard and terrible it is to deal with people's words when they are misplaced.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost a lot of innocence when my baby died, but I do try to stay positive for the good things and people that I have in my life. Still, there are days when I want to throw in the towel and say, enough. I want my baby back. Healthy and strong and in my arms like he should have been. It's not easy, but we will move thourgh. Never get over, but ~ get through this awful experience and loss.
Sometimes the doctor's get so caught up that they forget about human emotions. I am so sorry you had to go through that and will keep you in my prayers.

I made a remark to the nurse when I got called in after what seemed like hours waiting about how that was the most difficult thing I had to do since losing the baby. She was trying to be very empathetic and said, "Yes, I was thinking about you." I would have rather then put me anywhere else... I would have settled for a closet at that point.
