thanks for your support. Most of the time I can handle being around people whom are pregant. It is just harder this time. Not sure why. But the two people whom are pregant are friends. One friend doesnt want it and either does the guy she is with. So they are gonna give it up for adoption. They have a family in mind whom may adopt the baby. The other person is 15 whom is pregant. She is gonna keep the baby. Her boyfriend works so he is trying to save money and help provide for her and there baby.
I will keep my head high as much as I can. smiles. Thanks for the help. HUGS.
Even now that I'm pregnant, I STILL feel uncomfortable around pregnant women. Especially new parents that everything is going prefect for, I feel like they don't deserve it. It's a pain that definitely has faded over time, but I don't think ever really goes away.
I heard a quote one time that said, "You never really get over people, you just learn how to live without them." I think that is so true for me. I will NEVER forget my son, nor would I ever want to. He will always be a part of my life. I survive without him on a day-to-day basis and miss him every second of it. I guess the best advice I can give is telling you what things have helped me survive. Talking about my son is one of the ways I feel most empowered. I feel like I am honoring his memory by sharing memories of him and passing on his name to others. Sharing what I went through to help others not feel so alone in their pain is something I do that makes me feel like I am honoring my son and it helps me get through the day. Right away I figured out who around me and what tools were available to give me the best support. For me, I have a few friends who have gone through similar things, my family is very supportive, and this website has been a miracle. Whenever I feel down, I like to talk to someone or write it down and let it out.
Hang in there and know that you are not alone. Try to be happy for your friends who are having kids- but give yourself the space and time you need to heal. *huge hugs*
Sometimes I think about my ex (the father of the baby) and think about how he handled it. It really hurt. He came over that night I miscarried. (my friend called him and bitched him out because he was not gonna come over but he did because of my friend calling him). He hugged me and we just sat on the couch and talked about the baby and he rubbed my stomic. He was talking about what it would be like if I had not miscarried. Then he left that night. He and I talked about a month later. We have not spoken since. (sigh) I am so sorry to ramble. (crying) I need to go. Thanks again.
that sucks that your friend did that. What a bitch. Im so sorry about that. My friend never mentioned my miscarrage again. Part of me was happy we didnt talk about it. I didnt talk about it. I even saw a counselor and she didnt help. I have not really found a counselor that is good though. thanks for the help and advice.
