How to cope..

Some f you may know that my nephews girlfriend is pregnant.

I lost my baby last April after 5 years of trying to get pregnant and having undergone IVF. A year and a half after, its still hard to cope with. and I still can't fall pregnant.

Today I opened up my Facebook and there staring me right in the face were her ultrasound photos....

I feel so angry and blue. This girl is a mess, her life is a total mess, yet there she is, pregnant and happy (for the second time and not even 21!)

I don't know what to do! I really don't want to have to put up with her baby photos for the next few months! I am flat out just wondering how the hell I will cope with Christmas at my DH's family this year...

So sorry. How hard it must be for you - to have wanted, tried so hard, and then lost your baby. My heart breaks for you b/c I know how hard it is to suffer a miscarriage (without all of the trying and pain before hand). My suggestion is to put your concern about Christmas on the back burner. There is a lot of time between then and now. I would hate to see you worry for 4 months about it. . .that is a lot of time to waste. You will know by then if you want to go or not. For now, I would focus on YOU. You may want to block your nephew's page - - and just go when you are strong and emotionally ok to look (rather than the surprise of the pictures).

I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost a baby after infertility treatments. We had 2 failed IUIs and actually got pregnant spontaneously during a break from treatments. Again, I'm so sorry.

You can remove her from your news feed on Facebook without removing her as a friend. I have done that with many people that I know who are having babies. It has helped me a bit.

As for Christmas, I don't know. I don't have any answers for that. Right now, I'm just trying to live day by day and moment by moment. I don't know what I will feel like in 10 minutes.
