I am in the same boat as you. I miscarried twins in July naturally at 8 weeks. They stopped growing at 5wks5days. I started spotting so that's why i went in for an ultrasound and received the bad news. I was sad, but very positive about the whole situation bc its so common to have one and especially with twins. Well 3 weeks after i miscarried I ovulated and got pregnant again before i even got a period.
I went in for my 7 week ultrasound on monday and again baby was only measuring 5wks6days. They are assuming that I will miscarry again. I go back tomorrow to have another ultrasound to make sure there has been no growth. I knew right away watching the ultrasound that something was wrong. I am just devastated this time. This second time is much worse than the first especially so soon after the first one. My Dr. isn't worried about anything, she just thinks that my body wasn't ready to be pregnant again so soon since i never got a period. I can't help but blame myself for not waiting until I had a cycle. I have several friends who went through the same thing so I thought we'd be ok if we got pregnant again so soon. I don't have much faith that I will receive good news tomorrow. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment with only a little bit of hope.
If there is no growth or heartbeat, I have planned to take the pill to carry out the miscarriage. I would love to avoid having surgery if I can. My dr thought this would be a good option since last time everything went so easy for me.
I do have a 19 month old daughter at home that is getting me through this. She is truly a blessing and is all my strength through this.
I am hoping and praying that we both receive good news and if we don't then we have a fast recovery and are blessed with another healthy child in the near future.
