Strangely, my family is taking a big xmas trip this year. I would have been about 29 weeks at the time. I've been fretting about TTC which, if successful, could put me anywhere from 3 to 14 weeks. What if the plane ride does something? What if I'm walking around and something happens. What if I mc right before I go? They way I've decided to approach this is we will TTC up until Nov. After that we'll put it on hold until we return. I don't want to mc; I know there's a higher percentage. But I think after such a craptastic (and hardworking year) I deserve a little down time anyway I can get it. You can't let your fear put your life on hold.
Also, I think your DH is being very protective of both you and himself and it's natural to worry, but it sounds like you both deserve a getaway. Just talk through your fears and decide how you'll proceed with TTC and how close to your getaway you want to keep trying. But I think you really want to go and you should!
