Hi, Can anyone tell me what the (I) on the back of a military ID card stands for?

Well are you talking about the part of the card on the back that says Geneva Code? b/c if you are that is the were what part you fall under depending on your rank and such

V= Brigadier Generals and above.

IV= Major to Colonel

III= Captain and below, cheif warrant officers and master warrant officers.

II = Warrant officers and sergeants.

I = Enlisted below sergeant.

Just curious...why is it that you need to know? Maybe you should call pass and ID, they should be able to help you.
