Military Families Support Group
Today's military family faces a lifestyle that is comprised of frequent deployments, which results in increased family separations. This often proves to be a stressful challenge for military families. This community is dedicated to the families that are dealing with the unique challenges of distance and military-related stress.
To deal with it, I pretty much just try to reassure myself of what's realistic. Sometimes things happen and you can't really control it. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and my husband just got back from a week in the field and when our baby is less than a month old he's supposed to go across the country for a month. It sucks, but it is what it is. Knowing that doesn't mean that it won't bother me and I won't have those hard days where I feel hopeless and hate his job and wish he could be home.
It's okay to feel sorrow, but don't sink under it's oppression.
