Going crazy

Hello everyone. I am a military spouse. My husband has been gone for 3 months. This is his 2nd deployment. I hate when he is gone. I feel so lonely and anxious. I can't sleep. My friends say I should be use to it by now an although this deployment is easier than the first it's still hard. I am a full time student and mother but being miles away from my family really sucks. I don't have too many friends down here so i guess I'm going stir crazy.

They never get easier. You will eventually be so tired, sleep will come. I am the same way. I dont sleep well at all.. then you add that they are gone, its even worse.

I find I do craft stuff. I do the silliest stuff at night when the kids are down. It keeps my fingers busy... and my mind focused. Then if they are any good, they become gifts for friends and family.

You need to reach out to those you can while he is gone.

Where are you all stationed? I see you said that you don't have too many friends "down here" so I just wanted to see if you were where I am. =) I hope things get easier but we know there are days where the only thing that helps is just to cry and feel sorry for yourself. I feel so angry when my husband is deployed, mix that with sad, scared and lonely and it just gets to be too much sometimes.
