worst one in awhile

Right now you will need to forgive me if my spelling and grammar are a bit f**ked up. I'm in the midst of a migraine so bad that I can't see clearly out of my left eye---my stronger of the two. I usaully get migraines on the right side and I think because I'm used to that location, I am able to tolerate it when it strikes. But when it's on the other side, it knocks me down. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I understand! I am use to getting the migraine in my right eye, and every once in awhile the migaine will show up in the left eye, and it just freaks me out. I'm not even sure if the pain is worse in the left eye, but it is just different, so yes, it knocks me out, too.

I'm sorry you are in the midst of a migraine. I've been fighting one all night and so far have succeeded in keeping it in light aura phase.
Mostly I get them in my left eye which is my bad eye, so bad that it actually "turns off" sometimes rather than strain so I get how that can be tolerable. When it goes to my right eye it's like I am completely blind - not black, but my brain cannot process what my eyes are trying to tell it. On occasion it hits both eyes. It does really get you when it's different than usual. I hope this one passes quickly.

I don't understand what you are talking about "getting migraine in the eye".

Do you mean the pain is on one side or the other?

Are you talking about the aura being in one eye or the other?

My aura is in both eyes equally and my pain is left sided.

Dear WoMom, i am sorry you are hurtiong so badley. I have also had my headaches change sides. I.ve been dealing with headaches for almost 30 yrs. I have learned to not fight them or try and understand them, i just treat them now. They pretty much destroyed my life. I hope that you feel better soon.
