Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.

This is pretty sad. This used to be a pretty active board. At least people said hi back then.

It's VERY SAD. I'm in a few other groups ; all were fairly. Lots have moved on to other sites unfortunately. The "upgrade" at DailyStrength did not fair well with my comrades in the other boards who have vision and reading issues.

The old format was MUCH better for those with vision/concentration problems, but it seems the "upgrade" was intended to make the site more user-friendly for the smartphone. Unfortunately it ran a lot of us off. I still "lurk" from time to time, but I used to be on here daily. Also, the old format was much better for researching old posts ; now it just seems as newcomers show up, they ask the same old questions. I miss the old site, and communicating with my friends. Helping others was somewhat therapeutic for me. You are so very helpful too ; it's a shame our platform isn't what it used to be. It seems DS doesn't really care. Such is life.

I still look in but recently I've been migraine free. Most of the time I just look in on "my boards" simply to make sure the spammers haven't taken over.

I'm still sad that the CLs gave lots of feedback on the new site before it was released saying it wasn't fit for purpose and nearly a year later DS is still in decline.

Hello, I'm a migraine sufferer in addition to having neurological disorders that probably cause the migraines. I also get cluster headaches and sinus headaches. I seem to live in the dark cold cave most of the time nowadays, however, since I had botox treatment the intensity level of the migraines has decreased and I'm able to do more unless other health issues get in the way.

dhits- I'm so glad to hear the botox has helped you. I also have clusters and migraines. Lately, I've been waking up with migraines every morning.
This board is very useful and the people are very helpful. I hope you find good information here.

    I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car.     Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner.  I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings.  But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
