Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Good luck.
Continuing in this vein...have you tried Topamax? It is an antiseizure medication and has helped me. I still have 2 -3 migraines a week, but they are NO where near the intensity they were.
It was done at a chiropractors office....and it was one of the brand new machines.
So when I get into my recliner I roll up a hand towel part way and put it underneath my neck. Then the side of the towel keeps my head from rolling sideways, and my neck is supported by the part of the towel that is under my neck.
Maybe this will help you. I hope you get relief soon. Sending hugs...
