I call that time after a migraine the migraine hangover because my brain feels sloshy and a bit confused still.

I have a migraine almost every day, so I can't say what I feel like days afterward. It seems like the most I go without one is one or two days. But a lot of times if I manage to bring the pain under control it feels like I'm really tired or have a hangover.

I also have some sort of head pain every day which blossoms into a migraine several times a month. Varies in duration. So while I don't have a totally pain-free day after a migraine, I do experience a difference in my head after it lifts. I have always said that I feel like I'm "under water". Like others, I feel "sloshy", foggy, weak. I don't feel like myself, I tend to be slower, quiet and withdrawn. You are not alone. Just out of curiousity, what meds or method(s) do you use to treat your migraines, if any? Be well.

It usually takes me 2-3 days to get over the bruising from a migraine. I feel so tired, and run down. It still hurts to do anything, even when I sneeze, it hurts a lot!

Depending on how long and severe the migraine it, depends on the after effect. I had a severe migraine for two days that caused me to be bedridden. It took me 2-3 days to recover. I explain it as, my body went from being so sick and in so much pain that it takes time to fully recover after the migraine is over.

I get headaches daily with the onset of a migraine 2-3 times a week,..when the migraine is over and it turns back into a headache I feel mentally and physically exhausted. So you are not alone, it takes alot out of a person to experience what we all go through. My thoughts are with you,..take care

Thanks everyone, I came on today, because yesterday I had a bad migraine, no headache this morning, but just felt tired, no energy, hard to focus, just not myself. I beat myself up a bit for not getting things done and wanting to go back to sleep. I also was binge eating. I slept mid day and feel more normal now, capable of doing some things, at some point I realized this was post migraine effect. I have had it before, but forget to be kind to myself. It is true of the time before a migraine when I haven't yet realized it iscoming. But what is it that makes someone feel so miserable the day after?

PS I felt like just hiding and not comfortable even with myself. Sorta down, just not wanting to deal with anything.
