Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Magnesium - up to 400 mg a day, preferably at bedtime. It helps you sleep. It can give you diahrea so it's better to start at 125 mg and slowly raise your dose. Stop at the dose that works for you.
CoQ10 - 100 mcg a day
B2 - 100 mg, twice a day
Jarrow's Bone Help for the calcium so the magnesium will absorb.
Vitamin D - 5,000 units a day. This just keeps me in the bottom of normal.
Centrum Multi Vitamin
B Complex
My neurologist has just ordered a blood work up for vitamins/minerals, etc that aren't usually tested. He thinks it could be part of my migraines. It would be good if you could get the bloodwork for the main vitamins, and a CBC to know where you are at. Too much of some vitamins aren't good for you either.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
They have a good mix of supplements in one.
