Two bites

I am trying to figure out my triggers. I had a great day yesterday and have felt good for a week. Yesterday I had two bites of a Snickers bar. Would that be enough to trigger a migraine? Usually I feel it come on for a day or so, but not this time.

For my own experience, 2 bites wouldn't trigger, however I have to be careful I don't keeping eating or fool myself that more would be ok. For me it's a little treat sometimes and I don't press my luck, I have messed up many times because it taste so s= good.

THEN it occurred to me that I also had 2 glasses of Irish decaf tea. Hmmm. Wonder how they process that tea?

Peanuts (as in Snickers) and Almonds contain a chemical that is a powerful food trigger. The chemical is in ALL nuts, but almonds and peanuts have much more of it.

CHECk out the book "heal you headaches" by david buchloz it explains alll about triggers peanut, nuts, chocolate , any aged foods yogurt pickles processed meats sour cream are all triggers sometimes and i have found if i am tired and worn down, or it is that wonderful womanly time of the month sometimes one bite can be enough other times i can eat a whole piece and nothing

I am sensitive to chocolate during and after my period. Even a small amount of chocolate will trigger me. Maybe you have the same issue, even if you aren't menstruating. I know my husband's grandmother couldn't even LOOK at chocolate, or she would get hit with a huge migraine (OK, she could look at it, but she couldn't EVER take a bite, ever.)

As for peanuts, I am allergic to them, anyway, so I can't touch Snickers bars. I am not allergic to regular tree nuts, and I USED to be able to eat "Snickers Almond" but now they went CHEAP and use mostly peanuts in the Snickers Almond, would have been NICE to know the first time I ate one after they switched. NOTHING on the front label, only in the ingredients. I nearly stopped breathing, and when I called, to let them know that people with peanut allergies MIGHT not know they went nearly ALL peanuts in their ALMOND bar, the only thing they did was say, "Would you like us to call an ambulance for you?" WTF? I had already treated with my inhaler, and was stable, Idiots.
