Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I know it sounds very odd but I was doing some casual reading about a year ago on migraines on the internet & you know sometimes when you start searching you can end up finding very odd ball, off the wall, theories & conspiracies all over the place. One story talked about watching how many times you urinate especially after waking up.
I pee a lot anyway right after I drink my morning iced coffee up until about 10:30. So anyway, one particular morning a few months ago I noticed I was going A LOT, not "emergency room" or "scared of something wrong a lot" but just enough where it started to become funny, I was at work & everyone was saying, "Again"?? LOL! Anyway after about trip #4 my aura started. No pain just aura, full blown, for about 20 minutes. It faded away & nothing else.
So I've watched my bathroom counts up until about 11:30am which is when I go to lunch. Typically about 90% of my migraines happen before 11am & I have to say so far, at least for me, this "theory" has been fairly right on.
Not sure why, how, what or when but seems as though the days I go pee more than 4-5 times before 11am I get a migraine. Could be all coincidence I know but I guess it's one more thing to watch.
I'm sure it's all coincidence & you're probably right about the hydration part because I'm not really replacing my liquids once I drink the coffee in the morning or maybe not enough.
Very interesting! Thanks for the input! I gotta remember that. I don't remember it being cloudy at all but I do remember a definite increase in frequency.
