Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Have you seen a neurologist yet? If not you should so he can run some test to rule out things. I've had the test with each TIA, they are clear every time. If your having trouble speaking with a lot of your migraines I would consider seizure type meds to control it so it doesn't get worse. But you really have to go with the doctor says. That was just my experience.
I know a number of people on here have had this experience and will share with you. Good luck with your headaches. I wouldn't worry too much.
Still follow up with doc too just to be safe!
Do not be frightened by these symptoms. All migraine sufferers can have different symptoms, and these are just other examples.
As always keep seeing your neurologist on a regular basis.
Be well!
Its SO scary!! I have had people ask me if I am having a stroke when it happens!
