Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I've had mirgaines since I was a little kid, they run in the family. I usually have pretty strong aura symptoms, no nausea but allodynia. I get them about every six weeks, every two when I'm under a lot of stress. Meds don't work.
They range in severity from annoying for a few hours to confusion and agony for up to three days. Usually the light sensitivity is the last symptom to go away.
Several days ago I've had one of the milder ones, it was over after about 8 hours, but I still have the headache. It's gotten a bit better by now, but it's still there.
Is that something you've experienced? Is it just a coincidence, a normal headache? Or is it my migraines being annoying and unpredictable?

As I get older I noticed the severe pain migraine doesn't come as often as they did when I was younger but now a days I'll get the aura 100% of the time, the nausea about 80% & pain maybe 50% so i guess I'm lucky.
But in a nutshell, unpredictable is a great word neo!
