Hi everyone!

I have suffered with migrains for 30 years. I believe that they have now become chronic migraines which doesn't thrill me at all. I had 10 migraines in 14 days and felt like I was going to lose my mind. I seem to have them more often than not.

I also have fibromyalgia and have been in a pretty long flare this time.

I try not to let the migraines and fibro consume me. I believe that there are blessings in all things, sometimes I have to look hard to see them.

I feel for you I to have both and going through bad time to right now I can not find a blessing,in all this,I also have meniere'e and do not know witch is causing what,my ears are ring and pressure and causing migraines and vertigo, I do not know if i am up or down,today is my 5th day with one my eyes hurt so bad, I hope you feel better soon and come out of your flare,good luck hang in there, hugs Squarley

Squarley...I am so sorry to hear that you are suffering so. It is so difficult when these things last for so long. I know at times I feel like I might lose my mind from the pain. Praying you will get some relief and feel better soon!

azgal.. welcome, hope you find some good support. I too have suffered with migraines for a LONG time, about 23 years now. UGH!

squarley- I too have Meinere's but lucky that I have never had both occur at the same time. Meineres can get so bad that I have fallen over and had to hold on to the counter to stay upright. Keepig really hydrated has seemed to help. I hope you find some relief soon!!

I meant to ask this earlier, but what is Meniere's? I don't believe I have ever heard of it before.

Meinere's syndrom is basically an inflammation in the inner ear that can cause extreme vertigo, ringling in the ears, etc. It can also cause hearing loss. As with anything, symptoms vary as well as intensity. I have had some episodes that hit so quickly and have made the room feel like it was spinning so fast that I have literally fallen down and been unable to get back up. At times I have also stood in the kitchen holding on to the counter just to stay upright. And then I get very nausous, like really bad motion sickness. It's not fun!

I'm sorry to read that you both suffer from this as well. I have bouts with vertigo but nothing that severe. Praying for you both.
