Some other vitamins for headaches are: CoQ10, Vitamin B2, magnesium. I also take a B complex and multi-vitamin everyday. They have helped my headaches. Sometimes your deficient in these vitamins. Magnesium is really important with headaches and will help you sleep if you take it about an hour before dinner.
If you are taking Excedrin everyday you can get a rebound effect from the pain meds and the headache comes back when the pain meds wear off. The general rule of thumb is no pain meds more than twice a week to avoid rebound headaches. This is really hard hen your in pain everyday.

This happened to me when a GP just didn't know how to treat my migraines other than to shove painkillers down my throat. I then soon after saw a headache specialist who took me off of everything cold turkey. Worst. Experience. Ever. So be careful of the painkillers.
